St. Paul, Virginia is another beautiful town that redefined itself in the last few years. With a population of 827 and a median home value of $173,411, it's small town living at its best. 

Working hard to move away from its coal mining roots, the community banded together to make the move toward tourism including many nearby atv trails, hiking trails, and fishing among other things close to downtown. The town boosts Oxbow Lake, Sugar Hill Loop, Wetlands Estonia,  and the Clinch River. They also hosts a weekend long festival each year called Clinch River Days as well as other arts and music throughout the year. 

The town also showcases wonderful local restaurants along with a new brewery that is currently being built and the stunning Western Front Hotel that has become a big tourist attraction.
